Solgar : Discover products
Solgar's story begins in 1947 in Manhattan, New York. Passionate about the preventive action of natural supplements, pharmacists Nat Colby and Mike Goldfarb, as well as holistic physician Carl Zoll, founded the company Solgar Vitamin & Herb.

They developed the first Solgar product in a Manhattan pharmacy: Naturvite. Three years later, N. Colby met the young biochemist Allen Skolnick. Together, they continued to lay the foundations of the company with their own philosophy and a work approach based on science, innovation, quality and integrity.
In 1947, there was only one employee and one product available. 60 years later, over 300 Solgar products are now available to consumers in over 60 different countries. The headquarters are located in Leonia, New Jersey. Although many changes have taken place within the company, Solgar Vitamins remains true to the philosophy of its founders for the development of high quality food supplements.
