An organic soap maker since 1956, the Maison Berthe Guilhem produces handmade ultra-rich soaps and certified organic cosmetics, from fresh Alpine goat milk, in an artisanal laboratory in the Midi-Pyrénées.

The unique composition of Alpine goat milk gives it exceptional properties: these properties had been known to St. Hildegard de Bingen since the 12th century and they had been appreciated by Sissi (the Empress, Elisabeth II, of Austria) and also Cleopatra who had loved to bathe in it.

With moisturizing and anti-aging effects, Alpine goat milk is suitable for the most sensitive skin. It is rich in co-enzyme Q10 (an antioxidant which fights against cellular ageing) and fatty acids which help to keep the skin's pH in balance. Finally, Alpine goat milk is known in dermatology to relieve many skin problems such as dermatosis, eczema, psoriasis, etc.

As an essential ingredient in Berthe Guilhem ultra-rich soaps, Alpine goat milk is then added to infusions of plants, clays, precious essential oils and vegetable oils (musk rose, avocado, sweet almond, shea butter ...).
