Apricot kernel oil: for a sunny complexion


The Bioflore of apricot kernel oil as necessary for the body than for the face. It is rich in vitamin A and linoleic acid. Although rich cosmetically, it is a good carrier of essential oils, suitable both for superficial actions for deep actions.

Properties

  • Apricot kernel oil is very penetrating: the face will not shine after application.
  • Used morning and evening, instead of a cream, it tones the skin and brightens the complexion.

Trick

Light cream anti-aging day (dry skin):
Ingredients for 200 ml cream:
  • Oil phase:
    • 80 ml of vegetable oil organic apricot kernel
    • 4 g of day cream emulsifier (cetearyl alcohol + cétéraryl glucoside)
    • 2.5 g of organic cocoa butter
    • 5 g of white beeswax
    • 15 drops of Vitamin E
  • Aqueous phase:
    • 120 ml of organic Rose hydrosol
    • 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel bio
    • 0.6 g urea
    • 0.6 g potassium sorbate
    • 1 g of xanthan gum
  • Aromatic Part - Chemotyped essential oils bio (1-3%):
    • 3 ml of geranium bourbon (tonic, astringent, anti-aging)
    • 3 ml of yellow sandalwood (moisturizing)

Manual :
  1. Transfer and put to heat the apricot kernel oil, day cream emulsifier, cocoa butter and white bee wax in a double boiler pan.
  2. Transfer and put to heat the rose hydrosol with xanthan gum in the other double boiler pan. Also add urea and potassium sorbate.
  3. Made separately heated in a water bath the two phases. The oil phase should be completely homogeneous (+/- 62 ° C) and slightly heated aqueous phase. Remove the pan from the heat. After the heating process, add the Aloe vera gel in the aqueous phase.
  4. When both phases are at the same temperature, slowly pour the water phase in the oil phase while continuing to stir vigorously to mini whip for about 3 minutes. The mixture is homogenized and whitens. Tip: If you do not have a thermometer, remove the containers from the water bath when the wax is completely melted emulsifying the aqueous phase and begins to shudder.
  5. Without ceasing to stir, put the container in a cold water bottom to speed cooling and making the emulsion for 3 minutes.
  6. Finally, add the remaining ingredients, essential oils and vitamin E, mixing well between each addition.
  7. Transfer the mixture into your little pot of cream of day label.
