Xylitol (Active ingredient)

The Xylitol is a natural extract resulting from the bark of the birch. It is used as substitute with traditional sugar, because it has the same capacity sweetening but with a weak index glycemic. The xylitol is in particular present in certain chewings-gum because it has the advantage of offering antibacterial virtues (protection of the teeth) as well as a feeling of freshness in mouth.
