Roman chamomile (or noble) is a close cousin of German chamomile. These two plants have very similar virtues. However, German chamomile is generally wild while the Roman is almost always cultivated. The first is annual, the second; perennial.
Roman Chamomile (or noble) is known to lovers of herbal teas that prepare it as an infusion for ease of digestion and relax just before bedtime.

use
- Infusion : Infuse 3 to 5 g of dried flowers of Roman chamomile in 1/2 liter of water for about 10 minutes.
- Maceration (external use): put 5 to 8 g of plants in 1/2 liter of water and keep boiling for 15 minutes. Let stand for 4 to 5 hours in the same water and filter.
