Polyphenols (Active ingredient)

The term "polyphenol" refers to a family of organic molecules widely present in the plant kingdom (mainly in fruits), the best known of which are flavonoids and tannins. In nature, polyphenols protect the plant against environmental aggressions and give it its color. In herbal medicine, it is the antioxidant virtues of polyphenols that are particularly appreciated because they protect the body against cellular aging. Polyphenols seem to play an important role in protecting against certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
