Nopal
Originating in Central America, the nopal is a cactus which gives fruits called prickly pear. The Aztec doctors knew the multiple virtues of the nopal. They used this cactus to reduce the rate of glycemia in blood, to alleviate rheumatisms and to heal the wounds. The Occident rediscovers can with little the virtues of the nopal. In the current preparations, the prickly peartree is especially employed to decrease the appetite, to facilitate the absorption of greases and sugar within the framework of a mode thinness.
