Dietaroma

The story of Dietaroma begins in 1927. Louis Sevelinge, a doctor in pharmacy, a botanist and a pioneer, initiated his research in phyto-aromatherapy. He brought to light the numerous health virtues of nature and more particularly essential oils.

Building on the growing success of his extraordinary formulations, Louis Sevelinge founded in 1950 the PHYTAROMA laboratories for the manufacture of herbal medicines. In 1966, the results of his research led to the first complete range of phyto-aromatherapy products under the Dietaroma brand, exclusively distributed in health food stores.

In 1972 and then in 1998, Louis Sevelinge’s daughter and granddaughter successively took over the reins of this pioneering and well-known family business. Bénédicte Chirol (granddaughter of the founder) is driven by the same passion as her mother and her grandfather. She wants to make organic food supplements better known to the general public. In support of the organic movement, she initiated the gradual transformation of the range while enriching it at the same time.
