The history of Biofloral begins in 1979 when Ulrich Rampp left Bavaria (Germany) to settle in the mountains of Auvergne in France. In 1999, he founded the Biofloral laboratory for the artisanal manufacture of natural and organic plant-based products.

While the first humans lived in harmony with nature, mankind has moved away from it over time. To find out how to bring this harmony back again, Ulrich Rampp looked at the research and writings of doctors from the Middle Ages to the present day (Hildegard de Bingen, Paracelsus, Dr. Bach…). Their formulas and philosophies of life have inspired Biofloral in the creation of its natural remedies intended to bring body, mind and soul back into harmony.

Known for its ethics and for the high quality of its 100% certified organic product range (Elixir du Suédois, Ortie-Silice, fleurs de Bach…), Biofloral has maintained an artisanal production while pursuing the search for new synergies.

The growing success over the years has led the company in expanding its original building which had been constructed by Ulrich Rampp himself. The materials used for the new buildings are natural and renewable: stone, wood and terracotta for the walls and Auvergne sheep wool for insulation. Even rainwater is collected in a pond. As a member of the Enercoop cooperative, Biofloral uses 100% renewable electrical energy, produced by solar collectors and wind turbines. At the heart of its architecture, there is a beautiful garden sown with flowers and medicinal plants, bringing all its soul to the Biofloral company.
