Jade Wulong tea: a rare and delicious Grand Cru
Nicknamed "equilibrium teas" in China, Wulong are semi-fermented teas (in reference to black teas, fermented longer), and therefore lower in theine. After their picking, the leaves are withered and then fermented for a time that varies according to the aromas that we want to obtain.
Originally from the Fujian region of China, this Jade Wulong tea from the Dong Ding variety (which means "ice pick" in Mandarin) is harvested in the high mountains of China.
Indication
Thanks to its very short fermentation, Jade Wulong tea has a sweet and vegetal scent. Its fresh and round taste, with almost floral notes, does not have the astringent flavor of some black teas, and makes it an ideal tea for those who want to learn about tea.
Use
Low in theine, it is an excellent tea of relaxation and will be perfect for your evening tea or to accompany your desserts.
