Katrafay essential oil is extracted from the bark of a small tree from the dry and upland forests of Madagascar. Malagasy people use bark teas for toning and febrifuge. The chemical composition of this Bioflore essential oil is unsurprising, as it is a wood-related producing organ: a majority of sesquiterpenes, few sesquiterpenols, and a few other very marginal molecular families. But Katrafay's sesquiterpenes are unique.
