Buckwheat (Active ingredient)

Buckwheat
Originally from China, buckwheat is an annual plant grown for its seeds. Also known as "black wheat", this pseudo-cereal is not part of the wheat family or grasses. Buckwheat grain is highly nutritious and rich in soluble fiber. It represents an interesting source of proteins that contain all the essential amino acids. Buckwheat does not contain gluten and is therefore often used in the diet of gluten-intolerant people.
